For over three decades, we have been delivering a comprehensive range of legal services to foreign businesses and individuals in Bulgaria. Thanks to our extensive experience and legal expertise, we can provide reliable and effective support. We help clients navigate legal and administrative challenges with confidence and efficiency.

Our journey began in 1994, when István Módra founded ALBA Consult, a legal and business consultancy. Over time, the firm underwent several structural transformations. As our clients’ needs grew, our portfolio of services steadily expanded and evolved.
Since 2015, we have been operating as a dedicated law office. This long professional history, combined with in-depth knowledge of Bulgarian law and extensive experience in Bulgarian–foreign business relations, enables us to deliver consistently high-quality legal representation.

Today, our practice is led by two lawyers, István Módra and József Módra, who work in close cooperation. This partnership allows us to handle each case personally, ensuring careful consideration and full professional commitment. As a result, we can offer solutions that are effective, practical, and adapted to each client’s needs. Reliability, precision, and a client-focused approach remain the core values of our work.

We have substantial experience in Bulgarian business law, real estate law, and contract law. Whenever possible, we aim to resolve legal disputes through out-of-court settlements. However, we are fully prepared to represent our clients before Bulgarian courts when required. In more complex cases, we cooperate with other lawyers and specialists to provide comprehensive legal support.

Our clients are predominantly from Hungary, as we are among the very few lawyers in Bulgaria providing legal services in Hungarian. In addition, we work with clients from Austria, Cyprus, Germany, Greece, Italy, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Ukraine, and the United Kingdom.
Over the years, we have assisted businesses and individuals across a wide range of sectors. These include construction and real estate development, energy, finance, education, the automotive industry, the chemical and heavy industries, agriculture, environmental protection, the food and hospitality sectors, trade, and various services.
